Remembrance day . Lest We Forget Luke
WHAT DOES GOD EXPECT ? Many times on life’s road With all it’s twists and turns Struggling with a heavy load With aching heart that yearns . Wondering what does God expect ? We try so hard to do what’s right It seems our prayers He does reject While we strive with all our might . Does He listen to us at all ? Does He ever hear our call ? Why do we have to stand so tall ? Will He catch us when we fall ? Is it wrong when we object ? What if we should fail the test ? Just what does God expect ? A simple answer . Your very best ! You never fail when you do your best . Our loving God expects no more . In His eyes you’ve passed the test And He will greet you at Heaven’s door . Thank you, Luke. I am reminded of Christ's example: "Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for a friend." That is our military, and more. God bless them, every one, protect them, Lord.
