Some times we take our blessings for granted.

God Bless The Homeless

Why is there no place like Home ?

What keeps drawing us back ?

Even when we love to roam

It is like a spiritual attack.

No sleep as good as when at home

No meal so tasty or bed so soft

No fire so warm no need to roam

So content in your own loft.

Perhaps its all the love you found

All the joyous Christmas seasons

Having all the family around

Oh there’s so many reasons.

Yes you know just how I feel

When on the road homeward bound

Gripping on that steering wheel

Just getting home safe and sound.

Thank your family for how you feel

For it’s their love that draws you home.

Pray for families that have to heal.

So their children don’t have to roam.

That sacred blessing of a loving home

A gift we take for granted.

Pray for those that are forced to roam

With loving roots never planted.
