Once upon a time
A young girl loved a boy,
He treated her so poorly
As though she were his toy.
She always returned to him
Again and again,
Until one sunny day
She caught him with her friend.
She saw them smiling happily,
Laughing and passionately kissing,
Then she suddenly realized
All that she'd been missing.
She then closed her eyes
And imagined him there,
His wonderful smile
...the way that he cared.
She could still smell his scent,
She could still feel his touch,
But when she opened her eyes
She couldn't do much.
So the young girl sat down
With her head on her knees,
And wondered why
He didn't love me.
