I wrote this poem in March of '97 It came to me out of the blue as most of my inspirational poems do
Love --- What is man that you should love him? What is man indeed worth in the end? To love another is to give your all False gods is from grace to fall There is no recompense for love For love comes from the Peaceful Dove He who loves receives love in return To him who does not love, love is retained Love sets no limits for man It must be free and without bond Dare to love in such a way To receive your reward on that great day Faith, Hope and Love The greatest of which is Love �

Love is a much over-used noun. The meaning of the word has been lost among the glitter of Hollywood and manic lust of divorce lawyers. Good.
