My first experience in bringing communion to a sick person in the hospital is memorial. I wondered what it would be like and was afraid to encounter a pathic situation as I was not sure what my reaction would be. As I walked in this room, the man had no face. All features had been burned off. All I could see were two eyes, no lids, a mouth, no lips and there was no nose.I proceeded to look deep into his eyes while reciting quietly the 'Our Father' searching for his spirit rather than his outward appearence. It worked, he knew God thru his suffering. I said'you must suffered a great deal' he said 'no, not really'such is what faith does to a person and how God brings us to that faith.
TIME WELL SPENT
Look at their faces The young and the old The beautiful and the ulgy The timid and the bold The mentally challenged And the interlect The retarted, the cripple And the strong
Aren't they all alike As much as different? Yes, they all have The same needs All are loved by GOD He looks at what is inside We can do likewise If we would just try It is all there for the Taking Take time to know Them Then you will know GOD It is only TIME Spend it wisely

This is a true experience and I have had many such experiences in the healing power of God in the hospital while making my rounds bringing the Blessed Scrament to patients. It is with much regret that I can no longer do this because of neuropathy in legs and feet and other age-related sickness. God Bless lf
