Thousand to one.
Thousand to one are the average of written poems about love against the one dedicated to whom is asking "why me?"
not knowing that out there someone or other had wrote the words that can give a name to the pain an let the heart feel
that loneliness can get a little of warmth from unexpected hold.

Poem Artwork

I said,
when running out of words,
start writing everything down
until the last remaining though.

I painted,
with all the darkest tones
forgetting happy colors
giving a face to one storm.

I carved,
a sculpture made of nothing,
one begging extended hand
and two faces without a body.

And say,
I will never run out of words,
of have a forgiving smile
when writing of an hateful soul.

And paint,
a future with the brightest colors,
forgetting winter's dead sparrows
and yellow leaves from last Autumn.

And carve,
from the heart of the hardest stone,
with the sharpest of all chisels,
the sculpture of the coldest mother.

Georg,

You, my friend, are genius: I love the imagery you used in this one. You've penned/painted/carved a masterpiece!! This is your best YET. Well done, take a bow, this moved me more than you know!

Truly a most powerful piece, Georg. And for those in need, may the future with the brightest colors soon appear.
