By the grace of The Poets Nest, this one
was published there yesterday.
I wish you too to share it in a quiet moment of reflection.
The orphans are clamoring their pain in
the ears of a world that just doesn't care,
like suddenly, all the mothers went barren
with dried up breast after sucking devils.
Their house is not a home but an asylum,
which offers no protection to the poor slaves
begging to a world that just doesn't care,
"love?" they said, "are the orphans delirious?"
The guilt of the fathers should be paid not
by the ones tossed aside, that get the debs
of cruelty from a world that just doesn't care
as long as they are invisible and pay up all.
A tear from a orphan is not like any other,
it carries more bitterness and more pain
because of a world that doesn't care,
or because we haven't got enough mothers.

Georg in reflecting this poem I was brought to tears.
A tear from a orphan is not like any other,
it carries more bitterness and more pain
because of a world that doesn't care,
or because we haven't got enough mothers

It seems to be one of those things that is loosing the battle in this corrupt and ungodly world Georg ... LOVE. The love for your fellow man and the love that offers a hand to someone in need has been perverted. Even the love of many Mothers has become perverted because of drugs and the worshipping of demonic forces.

Too painful to think of children growing up in an enviroment without love...though my childhood was like a lot, disfunctional, at least there was love, to a degree...good write, Ed & Rufuz
It is sad that many children never know the warmth and security of a family, but I know of many Foster Families where several children were raised along with and in the same loving environment as the natural children. It is my gut feeling that children placed in Foster care should not be uprooted and moved back and forth...no matter the legality of this, we should be considering the child and not the judicial system. The imagery, the subject, reaches out and squeezes your heart--such powerful lines--the opening stanza made tears well, and trickle down my face by the end...powerfully penned heartbreak, Georg, well done.
