A cartoon in the late 50's despicted a Armed Forces recruiting poster saying: "Joing the Armed Forces, visit other countries, see another people...and kill them"
To a soldier it was insulting, to any man it was grotesque, yet, it provoked in some, a smile.
"You can smile again child,
you have freedom now,
many soldiers died
for what now you got"
The little girl had big,
shining eyes
that were looking back.
"I have no more papa,
no more mamma,
or a house," she said,
"no one will come
with a piece of bread
and I am cold...
can you keep your freedom
and give me back my love?"
so sad...and so right on. I saw such eyes both in war and when I returned home....lost children on both sides of the fence.

Powerful last two lines... There is no freedom without love.
I concur to a degree, no war. Yet I find it insulting when the odd person snipes at my father, Churchill, and others who faught tyranny in the World Wars. But wars fought with the creed of greed, it's time for mankind to grow up.
Yet here we have been niave, muslims talk peace, but peace only on their terms, they refuse to listen to reason, a culture where a camel is more of worth than a woman, a woman who has no voice in its culture, and our western women are despised, protecting our loved ones and Christian values is worth fighting for, lest we let the devil and his mininons reign. No thanks, I'd rather fight
