Creative approach to a far-too-frequent scenario. Not the word I want, but. . .point is, way too many people are suffering that
kind of pain. Many people would have us believe that love and loyalty are outmoded concepts. They have no time to be tender. They have no heart for sharing. All seem to have lawyers who encourage
them to grasp and gouge. It is horrible. "Dragon" is a perfect

How sad, and the lawyers just make things worse.

How sad is divorce where love was once the match maker.

the dragons were eating our insides
because there wasn't love...anywhere.

This is a powerful piece, my friend. And very sadly, those dragons are often very powerful. And when stinging wasp lawyers get involved, it seems things just get worse and worse.

As Alexandra says, sometimes about all we can do is flee those dragons and the stinging lawyers, and move on.

I read the story you refer to in this poignant poem, my dear friend, and thought of many other similar true stories, some with similar, some with diverse conclusions. There are many cases when divorce, or separation, may be the only option, if – for innumerable possible reasons and circumstances, that more often than not pertain, essentially, to the ones involved, their own evolution as individuals, and their interaction with each other, also as individuals, within a shared project of life – the relationship has degraded to a point where the couple can no longer survive as such. And these may be the cases when, paradoxical as this may seem, divorce or separation may become the only solution if a good relationship is to be preserved, beyond the one which has become impracticable – a different, yet cherished relationship of two people who have shared many significant experiences, who share many fond memories, and who respect and feel love for each other, in spite of their divergences. When this is the case… there are no lawyers, or indeed anybody or anything else that will turn such true affection, and people’s wholeheartedly true interest in its preservation beyond their differences, into a lie.
