The appalling news of "fishermen" using live dogs for shark bait needed a love story to compensate the heartache just the notion of anybody doing that dastardly act provoked.

A love a person has for their pet is often so special and when that pet passes it is a part of their heart passing as well. The article about using the dogs as shark bait angered me as well and sickened me that man could be so cruel as that.

Georg, I lost my beagle "Buster" four years ago. I was with him when we had to put him down. I held his limp body as his soul left it. I have never felt anything quite like that before..I felt his soul leave, and it was the most peaceful amazing feeling. I know he left in peace and is in a better place now.
