The doll sat stoic on the shelf Year after lonely year Forgotten was the love she has Ignored, her need to touch The children would remember her With only passing thoughts Her master was the worst of all Her existence he forgot Then one day came bright and blue With promise in the wind New owner claimed this precious prize He saw the beauty in antiquity Now they are together he and she He chose this prize with love In his eyes was adoration She will never more be forgotten
