Abandoned yet again
Each time a deeper cut
Each time a glimpse
Of entwined love
Seems just within
my touch,
its vines are pruned
near to the ground
and with it hopes
are dashed
can love be true
and steadfast be?
Or is it all delusion?
A poets dream a
Clowns cruel joke
That’s all it’s been for me..
