in the soul
there is no harbor
there is only the beating of heart
tossed
swept in as the tide
only
to sweep out again
and
I look to the point
the lighthouse a beacon
calling
see me
help me
know that I am here
and
still
there is no harbor
no respite
as storm washes over
the soul
there is only
the
beat
of
heart

I love your style Josefina but when I see a classic piece like this I become elevated with such sheer beauty. I have never doubted that but it is great to have everyone else see what you are really capable of.

Think of the alternative. Gloomy subject for you. Still well done and with panache.

This was so beautiful, and moving, loved these lines:

there is no harbor
no respite
as storm washes over
the soul
there is only
the
beat
of
heart
