The Priest’s Tale
When fools rush in where angels fear to tread, God sends special angels to walk the Earth… Special men and women to ease the dread And remind you of your ultimate worth.
I come bearing blessings and gifts of love To give to all souls, from greatest to least; I’m a citizen of the realms above, But known to my earthly friends as a priest.
For the sick, there is healing in my hands, And the hungry shall receive blessed bread; For the souls without hope in distant lands, I offer life rising up from the dead.
With the power of God, I take my stand Against the evil one’s wicked deceit; By His word, I admonish and rebuke Each dark spirit to ensure its defeat.
I bring together kingdoms and nations, Encouraging them to lay down the sword And embrace as men of common station, United by God and His holy word.
All I ask is an open mind and ear, And a heart that is willing to believe In a God who desires to draw near, With blessings and love for you to receive.
