Something whimsical’s sure to come this way –
I know it, if I let it, I feel it
nose to toes; tremors tweak my bones, today;
tease my mind, tickle repose. Submit
I say! Thoughts let play; their throes emit
energetic sway. Lace-up runners, walk,
wave wrist-weighted chicken wings away. Get fit!
Mind leads body where inspirations stalk
and fix on cacophonous talk
of gaggles of geese on melting floes,
their webbed footprints crisscrossed flock
to flock painting frozen pond in stencil rows.
Hello, upended Mallards’ tails, feet flailing
as they dive. Missed you! Happy the unveiling!
