In a spin, loving the spin that I’m in 1 Remember Old Black Magic* of love? Yes! Hear me! I love you! I love life, too! So does the spider in my sink! Poor thing water-draining with the rinse cycle – centrifugal force sucking her down fighting back swimming against the current all she’s worth. “Deserves to live spin more webs,” says I. Goddess stops the water. She climbs, tries, one leg lifts, falls, dizzy, her head in a spin. Surge’s edge she rests, I shower ponder her tailspin. Surely there’s a yarn to be spun of her spinning gyration, undone? Oh what tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive 2 comes to mind - Thank you, Spider! Your reminder of the spins of times gone by: topspin baseball, spins in the sports car, TV spin-offs, spins on the dance floor; pleasure pastimes, all. Media, politics, now all the thrall. What became of the smoking gun lost in the fog of war? Consolation. Never mind. My spider must have revived, survived. No trace of Her in the tub. Hallelujah!
