How many, in
Trenchant fortitude,
Search entire lives for it?
Wise men circumventing obstacles,
And the raging bonfires of perverse ideology,
Past inciters spouting new age hypothesis;
Hordes chanting incantations
To false gods;
WISDOM
Recognizing and
Scrutinizing each of
Those pretending to be
A thing they will never be,
Those pretending to admire
Peers but who secretly contemn
To make way for self-righteous intrigues,
Doggedness cracking open geodes, faithfully
Searching for some treasure to deepen their lives,
Heroically fending off hindrances, believing that dogged
Determination may finally place into enduring hands
The one true passkey countenancing passage
Beyond all vague semblances, leaving
Behind the grinding adversities
Of earthly impermanence,
The unrequited,
The unfulfilled,
The wretched
Misshapen
Diseased
Daily grind-cycle of
Pathologic repulsions as
Hopefulness begs to recognize
Fullness of TRUE BEAUTY and the stirring of
Anything other than the foolishness of a treadmill life strewn
With moldering pyres of good intentions…

Considering that
When at last the view
In fullness brings contentment,
And love flows in a river of purest repose,
And the watchman foretell no storms or armies
Marching against the safe haven of un-walled cities,
And profoundly wrought peace defines the happiness
Of children skipping and laughing safely together,
And every hand is extended to offer not take
To bring about a more lasting wholeness,
And tears
Depict no more
In smudged rills on
Forlorn faces the misery
Of intrinsic human depravity,
Then
Those,
Who know,
Will have taken of the
Water of life freely, and will
Have ascended into a place faithful and true ,
Prepared for those who accept what can never be inferred,
Where His reward is with Him to give to every man
According as his/her work shall merit…
