So fell eventide
in sigh’s of silence
with star-shaped shadows
and pale moonlight… And how fully
it whelmed the eyes; the
amber-golden-mists
purling with
argus-eyed dancers,
and all beckoning towards
something more durable than the
evanescing abstracts of imagination
.
For it was then, in
.
moistened twilight,
[that]
two weary souls admitted
sensing something summoning
them to cross over into it,
and in curiosity
they did
heed the call,
uncertain until intellect
had fairly adapted to the newness
.
But in settings spartan as they were
.
Both hearts shook
in dread consternation, and
became as leaves upon swirling currents-
a carousel flooded with infinite beauty-
[within a storm]
and where,
from all
clouded perceptions,
glowing radiance filtered
roundabout as diffused spectral slivers
cascaded throughout an ever-changing atmosphere
.
In whelming exaltations
.
Messengers with
Indescribable presence
emerged through rifts in
creations decaying fabric;
their voices
harmoniously joined in a
splendor of infrangible concordance
.
And when wisdom petitioned them
.
It unveiled how perfectly they had failed
in a quest for secular understanding,
and they fell intellectually naked;
absorbing the moment
as an unguent…
seeing and hearing suddenly
(and having found all awareness’s heightened)
amorphous fingers began to imprint in them
a motivation to forego all preconceptions -
of what was
and is
and will be - as a
brilliantly-burning-figure
emerged from nothing and poured
upon them warm redolent oil
and spoke (hushed)
to them,
(as it were) in
colors and sounds
as the Truth and Love of all
ages filled them with knowing LIGHT
and they merged and became one with the
FIRSTFRUITS of an entirely new race of humans
