Two things I noticed from the video. The crowd, while large, seemed to stand quite far from the performer. That may be a kind of unwritten rule in Ireland, but I found it not as intimate as street performance generally is… Often much better than in a bad seat in the club or auditorium. And far away from the stage in an outdoor concert.
And, the people seem to be giving her change. Unless there is a euro coin, I think they were being cheap skates, dropping mere pennies. But I'm sure it adds up.
