His words revealing,
And eloquently expressed,
Left the maiden hushed
.
Assuming them true ;
She envisioned something more
Than poetic lies
.
Shunning all notions
(Always knowing corrupted
A desperate soul)
.
She opened her heart
And became vulnerable
To a poet�s guiles
.
Pensively she smiled
As he intrigued her with words,
Pretending them true ,
She imagined orange blossoms
And a fragrance delighting

WHAT'S SO SAD HERE BUT WHAT IS SO OFTEN TRUE...EVEN AFTER ONE LEARNS THAT THEY ARE BEING LIED TO THEY CAN'T LET GO. the whole story is about enlightenment suddenly expressed in the orange blossoms and a fragrance delighting. . . don't believe me? read this beautiful poem time and again until you smell it. When a fruit is ripe it is ripe no matter the weather. Cheers, alex
