Here, where the sun had reached its most sublime azimuth,
imports blended jointly as sacred memories.
In utter bliss, the oracle
adopted emergent
quadrangles
etched throughout the many shades of ZEN.
.
Filtered through the
lashes of squinting eyes,
the Seer reaches for his meridian –
that place where vitreous silica
and primitive wonderment
coalesce randomly with
visceral ambiance flowering along
intersecting tetragons as light and shadow.
.
Pensively, the firmament beckoned,
everlasting upon pure cerulean aether.
Expectations and obtuse imaginings
unfolded before the wayfarer
in the hope of inventive
interpretation and construal.
Who was it that appeared
suddenly like the dawn,
fair as the moon, bright as the sun, and
majestic as the stars in sterling pageant?
Like a lily among thorns, one dulcet voice
summoning celestial beings from the chaos
to guide those walking the path less traveled.
.
Before me the portal opens, and I am beckoned
to enter therein to seize the wonders of eternity.
.
Here, where the
Ancient of Days breathes
life into all who are willing, where
drops of morning dew crystallize upon
gardens never-ending, where the eyes cast
off blood in supplication for one breath
of eternal majesty, where a visitation
from wisdom sheds abroad
supernal contentment,
where TRUTH is deftly orchestrated
from the floral envelope of cascading gems,
.
It is here, upon this ageless crag, as I stand and
ponder the vastness of human inadequacies,
that I hear a honeyed voice whispering …
“Arise my darling, my beautiful one, and come now
with me. See, the winter is past; the rains are over and
gone. Flowers appear now on the earth, and the season of
singing is upon us.”

A NEW RACE OF HuMANS
I am reading this wonderful poem over and over again, Richard! And eagerly waiting for "the season of singing" to be upon us.

I believe I know what that light is and I will leave it be for now. You are one for words and I appreciate that. Why I never used any source to come up with words other than my memory of what I read or heard. It's often the simple words that reach people that need to hear. Not the esoteric, scholarly words that are often misunderstood by the masses, the lowest common denominator. Why politicians shout simply worded slogans. Mass appeal.
But you do not follow that path. And that's okay. Just that I don't understand.
