We hear,
most days now,
political henchmen, and
their confederates, creating
deliberately invalid arguments, in
the hopes of deceiving and reshaping
the minds of all Americans
.
(the whole world in fact)
.
Employing
specious rhetoric,
virulent ingenuity, and
mythoi based on pretense, this
misleading, (though at times swaying)
sophistry opts deliberately to reorient the
individual’s creative mentation (freewill) to allow
egalitarian platitudes, and the socialistic ideologies
of woke snowflakes, an opportunity to take root
in the malleable soil of ignorance,
.
All this in a
sinister quest
to stay in power-
to plant false hope-
to redefine Marxism-
to berate Christianity-
to redistribute wealth-
to control and drain the
vim of free-thinking minds-
to grant citizenship to rogues-
to obfuscate a child’s sexuality-
to redefine the American Dream-
to lessen American independence-
to decimate the working middle-class-
to incarcerate with technological deceit-
to open borders to the worlds oppressed-
to make the masses government dependent-
to blockade free enterprise and small businesses-
to promote taxation without ethical representation-
to proliferate programs which burden the working
class beyond what is normal fair and just…
.
A new era of
obsequiousness,
creating masses of
dependent automatons-
the system bound puppets
of an angry and divided America…
.

and passionate poem.The power in it, and of it,quite intimidates me.I feel sad that America is going through such a tumultuous time and that is bringing out a lot of angry-passion,the sort that only true poets can express with such strong punch,as your poem has done.
For this far away Australian Granny,I can only watch and read all of my favourite American poets, and through all your words try to learn about what is really happening in your Country.I do love your very good and passionate poem. I can even ignore the one word in it that I have always hated,forgive me but I have always connected it with snobbery Richard,that word is 'riffraff.'
I just wish you could find another word instead of that so I could think
it was 100% perfect.
Australia is ALWAYS in Americas corner guys and gals,(EVEN in the times when we would rather not be,) so please get it all straightened out for all of our sake🕊Love to you and All of the USA.
Could you be, perhaps, misled in your thinking that making the United States an island amidst a world modernizing, sharing and advancing, is a good thing? The very countries that have the privileges that you rail against, are our strongest allies against communism and fascist dictators who use communism and religion as their way of controlling brutal power.
Don't you know as the president's analyst found out, "It's the telephone company!"

This is a huge amount to unpack here! I adore, thrive and love a good rant, especially when it's all true!!!! We are in VERY evil sinister times.
We are in times of 2 Timothy 3:1-5
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
We are in times low information people believe anything, are so deeply sheepeled, can't think for themselves. They are controlled by luke warmness and fears of political correctness and their fears ...Then there's the love of money as the root of all evil that is their God.
NO amount of voting for who ever, doesn't matter the political party - no matter how suave in promises because they are loyal not to the people but to their donor enrichment corporations and lobbyists- they will not change things, until the people rend their hearts and not their garments before the Creator of all life, when the fraud NOT called religious leaders get out of the pulpits, until the people repent not one thing will change UNTILL THE PEOPLE have remorse but if they don't it will only accelerate more suffering and His coming faster. Not one word did they speak as they turned their back on the ways of God...All I have to say is if they put that socialist tyrant Joe Biden back in there I will seriously pray about moving OUT of the United States. I've already thought that many times...When we get more leverage away from the dollar, go to Crypto currency, hard assets and precious metals...The people have become complacent. Their hearts are hard, necks stiff when you reproof them... God is all knowing, angered and very distressed. Only through massive prayers can we change things.
