So many people have asked a question that burns into their spirit.

If there be a God why do I not see him and if he has a voice why do I not hear it?

The answer is simple but often overlooked by man

If you really want to see him I think you can.

Look at the flower that blooms in the spring or the leaves turning colors in the fall

Look at the smile of the new born child so wonderfully delicate and small

Or look at the rain falling out of the clouds

While the lightning flashes bright and the thunder rumbles so loud.

Listen to the thunder; it is his voice that you hear

Listen to the cry of the child you hold so near.

Listen to the silence that gives us our rest

And listen to the sound of your heart as it beats inside your chest.

He is in everything you see and you hear.

God is in everything both far and near.

His voice can be loud or it may be a whisper so faint

It can be heard by any man who will listen, he need not be a saint.

God is talking to you now, I wonder have you heard?

His voice is so beautiful like the song of a bird.

Listen and my friend I promise this to you

If you follow his voice you will be gently guided through

Each lonely night you may face and any troublesome day.

The voice of God will lead you along the way.
