Arty’s Story

He was a robber and a thief with a no conscience or capacity to regret.

He robbed from anyone and everyone, whoever he met.

He did not know what would happen when he robbed that last bank.

Now his body lay by the side of the river as his wagon and money all sank

Into the mucky waters of the river below and his earthly life ended.

Andora was his love.  It was upon him she depended

To keep her safe and happy but alas he had failed

Her only big worry had been if he were caught and then jailed

But it turned out she should have feared for more.

She should have thought about whether they would ever reach heavens door.

Their story does not end with them lying there dead.

However this led to a window to a new life instead.

They would not like the life that they now found themselves in.

For it was payment ordained to repay for their sin.

Will this be the eternal life given to these two ghosts?

Or is salvation still possible.  Will they be saved by the Heavenly hosts?
