Please forgive me but I thought it was time to simply have a little fun. Did you ever consider just how much sense those nursery rhymes your mother used to sing you to sleep with really made? Well, what if you put them all together. Does that make more sense? LOL!

Chuckle

Now I lay me down to sleep.

Little boo peep has lost her sheep.

Little Miss Muffet, sat on her tuffet, eating her curds and way.

Jingle Bells, jingle bells, jingle is all I can say.

Oh beautiful, for spacious skies, for amber fields of grain.

For purple mountains majesty, above the two cent planes

Oh say can you see any bed bugs on me.

If you do, take a few.  They look better on you.

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.

Jack fell down and broke his crown

And Jill stumbled but an olive branch caught her.

One, two, buckle my shoe

Three four, close the door.

Five six, pick up sticks.

Seven eight, I want a date.

Nine, ten.  Say that again?

Oh well, I never had much of a mind.

Now what I had is gone.  (Sorry, I could not make that rhyme)

This is very nice chuckle; we all need from time to time but Tweety sure can be a naughty mess, but the last line I do confess, my favorite line (Sorry, I could not make that rhyme) confesses the truth of all mankind; we're only human....:)

Hey Lew, sometimes a little bit of nonsense is so much fun. I enjoyed this a whole lot, especially the twists...I thought them clever! I wish I could remember a few, but right now...I seem to be having a senior moment... :)

God Bless

Just loved this and found it so interesting and creative. I agree with you wholeheartedly, there is so much meaning and truth in those old-fashioned and new-fashioned nursery rhymes. Thanks for sharing this. My best, gloria
