Gray Skies Today

There are gray skies today

But hey… what can I say?

I will not look upon them with disdain.

I will surely welcome the coming rain.

Though it may cause one to feel a little depression

I watch the foliage as it accepts rain in appreciation.

It is happily welcomed by the trees and vegetation.

For, indeed they know it is a part of Gods’ creation.

Starting as a drizzle it may then turn into a downpour.

The mixture of rain and tomorrows sunbeams

Makes a wonderful nurturing balance it seems.

So I will listen to the song of the rain as it sings.

Let’s relish in the wonderful source of life that it brings.
