One might characterize love as respect or devotion
In its extreme it may be a passionate adoration
If it is directed toward ones father or mother
Or the kind of love for a sister or brother
Love can be considered as a feeling of friendship and familiarity
When you meet that someone special it becomes one of greater intensity
Love can make way for the future or it can create the broken-hearted
Once you have given your heart you feel that you cannot endure being parted
Love in itself is a pedestal to a world of splendor
However, like the letter sent it leaves unhappiness if it is not returned to the sender
Make yourself a promise and pledge that your love is freely given
For the love you receive in return will be like manna from Heaven
Love the Lord thy God and your neighbor with resolve
For if you do not give love it will soon simply dissolve
