My dear wife thinks I’m forgetful. I can’t imagine why
Why I still remember as a kid I… Now where was I?
When I was a kid we walked ten miles to school every day
I remember that walk and I still know the way
Speaking of walks, we used to take walks while holding hands
I remember going to the beach and playing in the sand
Has anyone seen my car keys I seem to have misplaced them somewhere?
Oh my, you’re going to laugh I found them. I put my hand in my pocket and they were in there
I always keep them in my left pocket and in the right I keep my small change
I remember when Roy Rogers and his wife sang “Home on the range”
When I hear music I love to sing along but wife says I sing off key
Oh, that reminds me I seem to have lost my house key. Where could it be?
False alarm, I found my key. I left it in the door
My wife says she can’t sleep with me any more
She says the reason is that I snore but I never heard me do so
I’ve lived with her for almost forty years so I guess she must know
Now I seemed to have digressed, now where was I?
