They hung him high upon the cross
The price he paid for all our sins
Had he not hung there it would have been our loss
But he gave his life and our salvation he did win
Dear God I praise your holy name
For your son, Jesus is my savior who is sublime
It was for this purpose to Earth he came
It is for this reason that I praise his name
He came to demonstrate how we each should live
He taught us how to serve and give
He showed his never-dyeing love
He is the emancipator sent from above
It is for this reason I worship Gods only son
And will witness to him till my days on earth are done
