An excellent and well honest poem.We live in such a narcisstic society where it lacks humanity.When you said "When we do walk,we are on the phone,no time to say hello passing those all alone".I've experience that before.I was sitting in the park and once in a while or sometimes I would see this woman walking her 2 dogs.She's not a friend or anything,we just say good morning and that's it.One day I wanted to say hello to her,but she was busy with her phone.Its cool at how technology has changed over the years,but people should just put down their phones,ipod,sidekicks,blackberries for one second and just say hello that's all.I enjoy this poem,take care

Wow, Ron, you have written a lot in a short space, all worth reading. I wonder if things are going to change for the better, but am delighted that we no longer have the Bush administration to drive us into the brink.
Bang on. My husband use to teach in a wing where Business Administration classes were taught. He overheard the profs say that the only morality is the bottom line. If it makes money, it is moral. Good grief; ya and not an honest one in the bunch. sickening. True too, the sixties were good times in which to make a decent living but we or many of us weren't satisfied and wanted more. see documentary "In Debt We Trust." Explains it all.
