Stocky Markey

There was an old gal name Stocky Markey
She was a fickle bitch

You never knew when she was up
Or when she’d go in the ditch

She seemed to react to the simplest of things
In ways that you could never imagine

Just when you had her figured out she’d
Change her course and run aground

Pick yourself up and dust yourself off
Give it another try to see if your guess is right

Weather, politics, greed all change the pattern
Fate will decide the outcome overnight

Beware the Stocky Markey, she’s taken bigger down
Better to be a fool on the side than a clown

Fools rush in and fools rush out
None of it makes any sense

Might as well be the oceans mighty waves
That crash with endless cadence

Or a dart boards lucky hit
Darn that lottery ticket

Life’s a gamble so do not despair
Because long after you die

Stocky Markey will still be there……………….
