Love or Money?

Which will it be, honey?

Will it be love?

Or will it be money?

Depends upon your viewpoint.

Dummy.

How big is your stomach?

Yummy.

"Next time, none of this love shit,

I'm marrying for money!" She exclaimed.

But dividing up the household,

left finances to be rearranged.

What's yours is yours,

and what is hers, is yours.

Divorce decree claimed.

Judge reprimanded lawyer,

on that big mistake,

left his ego, maimed.

So, I'll stick with money,

for the rest of my life.

I might tarry again,

but not have a wife.

For in this state of affairs,

she always gets one half.

Whether she contributed or not,

always gets the last laugh.

So for love or money,

don't get too involved.

For richer or poorer,

is quickly dissolved.

A sad way to view marriage.

When there's trouble in a marriage, it starts either in the bed or the bank. Apparently when it comes to relationship, they can not be mutually exclusive without pulling the pins from beneath those who proposed to remain together "for richer or poorer."

GIVE ME LOVE...OVER...MONEY, ANY DAY! I MEAN, I'VE ALWAYS REASONED; SUPPOSE I MARRY A GUY FOR HIS MONEY AND HE LOSES IT ALL, THEN WHAT?!? I WOULD BE STUCK(OR I'D LEAVE)WITH A GUY THAT I NEVER LOVED IN THE FIRST PLACE. BUT WHEN I MARRY FOR LOVE...IT DOESN'T MATTER IF HE'S RICH OR POOR, I'M IN IT FOREVER. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? I BETCHA KNEW I WAS GOING TO SAY THAT(SMILE). ENJOYED, THANKS RON. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

Love and money! Hah! I want them both! I'm greedy at my age! And I still want to be treated like a princess. He has to come in the most romantic setting: He would have to wine and dine me, then kneel down to propose with a diamond ring in his hand. - Yup! That's my dream, and I won't take less!

Ah, love and money, aren't they ever intertwined. First comes the love, then comes the money, then the divorce, then the division of money. Enjoyed.

Today’s world on these matters is so different from
past times when money within marriage was often
scarce or practically non existent…so it tended not
to be a big problem…
Now pre nuptials etc…
It’s sad that cynicism and monetary gain has crept
Into modern day relationships…sad but very
understandable!

I've heard it said that when money is scarce, love flies out the window! Boldly said, but sadly true!

Yes! A sad and recurring tale in this life/word. I lean towards love but a measure of money to go with it helps to "navigate" the journey towards wherever. Love and peace to you, Ron,

Regis. 🍁
