To see what I see, and hear what I hear

It is difficult to not become a Christmas grinch

For good hearted folks don’t have it any better

And the class bully receives the bounty

Two boys whose daddy got drunk for Thanksgiving

Got into the car, broke parole, and will go back to prison

They had little to begin with,

Now they will have less

Mom will come to a meeting at school,

She’ll walk the five miles and be there at two

‘Cause when daddy went driving,

He took their only car

But these boys are so beautiful

Together, they intend to save the world

I hope they do,

While they believe it can be done
