in this world?
Who took away the sweetness of thy dreams destined not to
come true ?
Who filled thou with the yearning for happiness?
Who laughed at thou by promising the heavens, whilst
casting thou to hell?
Oh, lonely heart, the tortured heart!
What is thy guilt, and why thy fate has been
To bear this Cross of Loneliness?

The lonely heart is not fun to have. Noone should be lonely around the holidays but some of us are and always will be. Lonliness is a matter of thought and we can fight back lonliness by doing for others and trying to keep us on the right track and take your soul to Heaven with you and forget the bad that happens here on earth.
