Try not to let things get
to you...
Several of us has had a
rude comments...
I feel that they must
have a poor self esteem,
To slam others makes them
feel powerful...

Dear Trask,

I have been following you for perhaps as long as I have been at AD, and I have read your work with pleasure, not always agreeing with you [who said I had to?] and reading the various comments to your work, including the jabs you take at yourself.

What many people may not realize is that you are 'a political cartoonist', but instead of using charicatures, you paint with words in poetry form. That takes a tremendous amount of talent, dear heart. And talent you have.

People such as you and your talent are needed in this world. You have the ability to jerk people around from their too comfortable views and parrot-like dogma, and you make them think of other things, not always pleasant, to be sure.

As a reader, and one who appreciates thinking people [I like mavericks; I am one myself], for that I thank you.

Appreciate yourself to the fullest...others do...
