FOREVER   FAMILY   (Adopted!)

A little star fell from the sky
one lovely starlit night;
She landed in a family's hearts
to share her sparkling light.

They didn't know when first they met,
how they would love her so,
or how her smile and twinkling eyes
would keep their home aglow.

They feared that she would leave them,
so they all joined in to pray:
"Heavenly Father, hear our prayers,
and let sweet Maddy stay."

The loving Father, looking down,
knew they should be together;
He smiled as He told them,
"You're a family forever!"

Please bless this little shining star,
and her dear family, too.
Help each and every one of them
shine on, Dear Lord, for You!
