Will You heal my broken heart,
Oh, God of might and power?
I know You care for this hurting one
who cries for help this hour.
Why won't You tell me what to do
to mend the breach between us two?
because the breach affects You, too --
It's keeping You out of his life.
But, God, I am his wife!
What gentle word can I say to him?
What loving act can I do for him?
Or should I try to show him his wrong?
I want to sing the victor's song!
If only we two could go forward for you!
Should I keep hoping?
Should I keep praying?
Or do I go on alone? --
together in presence, but oh, so alone?
Deliver me, Lord, from self-pity! --
He needs a wife who is strong!

Crying out in hopefulness is faith in action. It is in these times when nothing, or little, seems as it should be that we see ourselves for who we really are. In need of someone much greater than ourselves. Stand strong!
