There's something odd that you will see:
Many folks complain and whine--
You'd think them poor, without a dime--
Until they haul the wallets out,
Stuffed to the gills, without a doubt. Their multi cars take other's space;
They think the world owes them a place.
Though overflowing with money and "things," Ole Misery, a thankless soul brings.
All is handed on a golden platter;
The rest of the world doesn't matter!
Methinks they need to learn the way
To think of others along the way;
Instead of complaining, to smile and sing
And thank their Creator for everything.

How right you are, Connie! Giving thanks seems difficult for some, though if they stop and thing about it, EVERYTHING belongs to God. Perhaps then, they will give thanks instead of complaining. Great write!
