For a little boy, his daddy's love

must be a sacred call,

A love that will not let him down,

whatever may befall;

A love that will protect him,

and one that he can trust;

He needs a daddy standing tall,

a dad who's kind and just.

A man that he can imitate,

as boys are apt to do,

Who will not ridicule his son,

but teach him to be true .

A little boy just needs a dad

to show him how to live,

So he'll grow up to be a man

with daddy-love to give.
