Just Say "Thanks"

Have you looked around you lately,

God's blessings to observe?

Have you thought about your God and His great love?

Have you recognized His mercy

in gifts you don't deserve?

Have you raised your eyes and talked with God above?

Just say "Thanks" to Him, why don't you?

Just look for the marvels

That He gives each day you live and draw a breath;

Thank him for your Savior Jesus

Who came to die for you,

And by rising, gave you victory over death.

Watch the winter birds arriving

As summer's songs depart;

Feel the sun's warmth as it shines through your window;

He gives blessings to each season,

New strength for every day,

And abundant grace to serve Him here below.

Why don't you just say "Thanks!"

"Devote yourselves to prayer,
being watchful and thankful."
(Colossians 4:2)
