There was a day when loving parents
taught their children to follow the Lord.
They taught them discretion, justice and love,
and the value of wisdom in God's Word.

Evil days grow worse and parents fail
to give their children God's admonition.
Thought it cost all that you may possess,
wisdom will save you from perdition.

My son, do not forget My teaching,
but keep My commands as I have taught.
If you are seeking authentic answers,
My Word holds the wisdom you have sought.

If you accept each word as true , and
hunger for insights into My ways,
You'll be a man of great understanding
and walk in wisdom all of your days.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart
