I Experinced this once on a church floor after being prayed for.
A Child
I feel fresh dew on the grass that is dry, and under the big oak tree we lie.
You just took my hand and walked silently, and made in Your arms a cradle for me.
We spoke no words
with lips that move
I heard the thoughts
to me from you.
In Your lap, curled in a ball I sat
snuggled close upon Your chest
I'm four again, and I feel blessed.
Not a tear nor sniffle
came from me when You held me tight
and said I was Your baby.
You told me then, I'd be all right and I took this in with great delight.
We can talk, we can smile, we can laugh, we can cry. But more than anything, loving and being loved is the essence of life. When we know love, nothing else matters.
