In my senses,
where whispers meet the drawings of my soul
Behold! I drew an angel
...a divine being sitting, with her scepter half raised

High above the headstones
some big, some small,
no names engraved
Others were sculpted on a marble base

All fleshed , in equal rest
with their backs lying towards a Hell
Their eyes are facing up to Heaven’s Blessed
Allowing my pencil to draw no pelle

I saw a gray haze fading to a higher place
under some sun of an emptiness
Shadows cast against all alone
there contrived on every stone

Now, my angel wore a majestic gown
Anointing souls whether up or down
A city scene amongst incessant mortals
in a metropolis of such windowed mortars

The look she had was an earthborn sad
Divinity guessed, when then she asked...

"Will I ever get off this hill?"
"Can’t they judge by their own soul’s will?"

O Sovereign spirit, with a mirthless face
hallowing souls in my imagines space
Blessings, Blessings unto you!
Questioning angels,
in a mundane rue!

God so help us if this were true !
