In Thought, I did not speak I looked around then upon this street... A Golden light I saw my fate, St. Peter standing at a pearly gate "...here’s your Lamp it will give you sight as you walk through the valleys of your dark in Life" I saw my past then stream on by... I saw all the things that made me cry I watched just how they made me strong It’s view revealing then, of all my wrongs I gazed upon all my loving loves... With tears I watched , to the One above! Standing, Their testimony stood with loving hands placed upon His Book I then came to, and upon every face, To face the ones I refused to grace... Thoughts of then, O’ how, affecting them! Then ensued, I saw in me in there, of asking Him... "O’ Pleasing Lord, please forgive my sins! O’ Loving God, Will you let me in?" I held my lamp then higher up, to see more of , this... my flowing cup! I didn’t like my revealing self, and then He made visible, all the depths of Hell!
"So many times!", His cry called out... "I thought I’d lost you, in all your doubt!" Then His light ... cast away from this and I heard His voice so Glorious say... "Behind you barren, this far you’ve come "Your rights surpassed , It’s you I’ve won!" Humbly meek I fell and kneeled The line of my Life, His saving sealed, of each, and every, the ones I healed The beggar there, I remember well... He smiled, saying, "You saved me from Hell!" The children I prayed for and all the sick, Even the ones, I told to pick, "Him or him?" and they chose Him! My line so long, I had no clue? One never thinks of the things we do... The smallest seed, in planting rows all I tended, and watched them grow... This was my line I hoped and prayed... And...then...in suddenly, I heard him say... "For This my Child... you will hear My song!" A voice, A light, with all Heaven’s might... "For all you’ve done, for all you did My gift, today, for you, this I give... He held my hand together walking, Golden hues and silver sands upon this is, For this He planned "The Life you led For My love, you do Today, I give... Everlasting Life to You!"...
