Abasement

A place where we need to go...

Commencing into abasement
I take despairs
Down into unenlightenment,
where resign appears...

Oppressing against mortal walls
Lying on cellar floors
Being, of shame places,
wounded...I displace

I cede
O’ Meeker mead!
Assiduous one
Persevering, in this hole of my dungeon

I see an expanse loosen up,
there, displaying alight...
Now, upstairs on a higher flight
Exulting!...
