Did you laugh at yourself
When you switched on that light
That's what I do when I
Can't get it right
Like when I'm looking for glasses
And they are propped on my head
Or I try to buy a paper
For tomorrow's news, and feel my face red
I laugh at myself, it is entertainment that's free
If we laugh at ourselves
We don't take ourselves so seriously
And yet, it is hard to laugh
When you are without power
It is hard to laugh
When you can't bathe or shower
It is hard to laugh
When you can't get some gas
It is hard to laugh
When you can't see the path
Out of your troubles
Out of your pain
But that means we try harder
For there is much more to gain
HUGS AND LOVE AND HOPE
IN THE FACE OF TRIALS AND TRIBULATION
