Calling the Whales
Humpback Whales I called them to me in my heart I felt them in my belly—then Through salty labyrinths They moved— Rocketing up the water column Splashing into salt air then— crashing down Before my astonished eyes. Their huge longing had echoed off mine Sonorous gorgeous whale songs.

You seem to be akin with the whales in this symbiotic poetic gesture. While I marvel at the size and beauty of the Great Blues, I find that Humpbacks seem to have overly large mouths and eyes, huge stretch marks on their blubberous bodies, and worst of all, all those barnacles all over their faces as though they never had a good scrubbing bath even though they were in the ocean all the time. ;-)
