here is the second christmas from my kids challenge.
christmas time has come again
we visit relatives and friends
and watch some movies on t.v.
as carolers entertain with glee
getting hungry from the smell
that we all know and love so well
baking in our busy stoves
is pinapple, glazed ham and cloves
malls are busy every minute
with shoppers rushing to get in it
trying to find the perfect present
before they have to wrap and send it
children cold from snowball fights
and building snowmen in the night
using carrots for a nose
eyes made from the darkest coals
reading stories by the fire
making children very tired
resting from a day of fun
and waking from the morning sun
