This poem was inspired by a mysterious man who has lived in a neighboring town for as long as I can remember. Many stories are told about his life...but only he holds the key to the truth that continues to be buried deep inside of him...

Sorry for your inconvenience as I have removed this poem due to copyright purposes...it can be read in my new and upcoming book. As always thank you so much for stopping by my den...

Joyce, good to see you on AD...I've missed you...This is a sad story of a person allowing the evils of alcohol to overtake his life and cause a terrible tragedy. You've done a great job expressing this in your poem...I enjoyed reading it.

It is a story that permeates all of human history ... in a rage - substance or emotionally induced - human nature lashes out at those around and after the storm subsides; regrets what it has done. Vivid!

Great write Joyce, and yet all too familiar filled with the abuse we all know too well that is rampaging this Godly given earth.

A bit spoky too...wonder if you all will ever find out.
