A Hero Named Jimmy

My Dearest Jimmy,
You may not see
yourself
In the way that
i see you.

~*~

For you may not
even realize,
That thanks to you
i am still alive.

~*~

You kicked right in
just like a trooper,
and knew exactly just
what to do.

~*~

Most likely i would
not of been here today,
If it truly were
not for you.

~*~

My lifeless body was
saved by your hands.
You were my guardian
angel, that spared me
from death.

~*~

Your being there was
all part of God's plan.
For God had faith in you
to do what was best.

~*~

How do i say thank you,
for giving my life back
to me?
For a simple thank you just
does not seem to be enough.

~*~

You will always be
a big hero to me.
For you are my
guardian angel,
That was sent from
the heavens above.

~*~

With all of my
heart and soul,
I thank you for
saving me.

~*~

For now i have the
chance to grow old.
All because of
"A Hero Named Jimmy".
